Description Revolution Trains 1938 London Underground Stock - 4 Car Set London Underground Livery with White Roundels - Cream Window Bars This is SET A - NORTHERN LINE Catalogue number RT-N-LU1938-RED402A DCC Ready N GAUGE Revolution Trains / Rapido Trains Inc.   Prototype information: Over 1100 cars of 1938 stock were built for London Underground with additional cars continued to be built into the 1950s.  The 1938 stock was revolutionary in both its styling and being the first underground stock with all the equipment located under the floor (rather than in cabinets above the sole bars).  The 1938 stock were used on the Bakerloo, Northern, Piccadilly, East London and Central lines at various points in their life – perhaps being most noted for running on the Bakerloo and Northern lines until the 1980s.  Following withdrawal of last 1938 stock sets in 1988, 20 cars were sold to BR for refurbishment and use on the Isle of Wight as Class 483 2-car units.   Model features: London Underground: 4-car pack with additional 3-car add-on pack Isle of Wight: 2-car pack detailed bodyshells with separate flush-glazing one car motorised DCC socket in each driving car (ie both cars in a 2-car unit) moulded interiors working head and tail lights saloon lighting (non-motor car only) alternative couplers for ends to enable sets to be run in multiple   Revolution Trains anticipate Model Arriving: Q4 2025/ Q1 2026.
